On 9th July, just few days back the very first projects of Green Binhai Project started. And yes even I was there to participate. Yes I was there!
Oh ! so who am I? 我是迪拉子.是天津医科大学的国际学生来从尼泊尔。因为我不会写好还也我不懂汉字我写英文好吗？
Environmental issues has always been a subject of interest for me since my school days and I feel good to work for a better cause. But never had such opportunities after coming here in Mainland. I have been just bearing the environmental conditions and complaining about it so far. Maybe because I didn't know where and how to work out about it? One day I knew about this Green Binhai project after I came to know about it on TianjinExpats.net . So I thought I got an opportunity to work out rather than to sit, complain & dream of clean, green environment. I thought through this expat site lots of foreigners like me will come for this project.Well I was the only foreigner but yes I was not only one who thinks for the better environment.
Joining the GREEN BINHAI PROJECT was a great opportunity for me to explore more of nature around and learning about environmental protection. It was different from online environmental activism than WWF (www.panda.org). And apart from working for the better environment it was wonderful moment meeting Wang Min, Lu Jun Sen, Li De Wang, Jiang Jianying,Gao xiao xia jie, Xiao Feng & Wang Teng Yue from my group; F-8. I did enjoy the great moments together also with Wang laoshi, Yu laoshi, Wang Hai Long, Wang Jun Ying, Shi Yan Heng, Wu Bin, Wang Xuan & Bai Ru Zhi from the other group; Shi Di Yu Niao (湿地与鸟) along with Binhai Radio journalists & members. I will never this moment together with these wonderful people.
Going to such a beautiful place was a first experience for me here in Mainland. I agree there are more such beautiful place here but it was my first time and that's also in Beijing so I could not believe for a moment. Hills around reminded me of hills and mountains of my country. The place I was born has mountains around, full of natural beauty and scenery and I felt so close to nature once again along the hills of Chang Yu Cheng (长峪城). Hiking uphills & passing by the shade was a real close moment with nature after a long long time. Walking in a trail, learning & exchanging our culture & language, ideas on environmental protection and enjoying the hike along was amazing trip.
Then the meeting was a time for us to hear about the project's ideas and thoughts about the environmental conservation. For me I had problems in understanding others' ideas & plans but I did get most of it. Yes after all everyone had same motto; everyone had a thought of Green Environment! I think even others had problem understanding what I said, but its also about Green Environment, Green Binhai, Green Tianjin, Green China & Green World ! Being in a team F-8; a team behind lv binhuatan(绿滨花坛) like every other members even I had a plan on lv binhuatan which can make and bring difference in people's thoughts and love towards nature. Starting from the children to adults, implementing the education of environmental education through books, schools & medias have been my first priority followed by the usages of science & technology in developing garden followed by green areas in future. And likewise mine, more good plans were there with other members. I believe that's why the best of us got selected.
Now with this Green Park Project and the plans with our leaders I hope to look forward for the success of this project. I hope in coming future this project helps each and every citizens of the country & the world to develop more of their home into healthy, green & clean.
